Our Austin 10 on the day we collected her from Nottingham. Our Austin 10 on the day we collected her from Nottingham.

She arrived with us as a near basket case in early September 2009, with a siezed engine and a rotten body. The intention is to return her to her former glory; not to concourse, but a nice useable classic that can be driven and (hopefully) admired. We're sure that there will be a lot of trials and tribulations along the way and we want to share our experiences with you as we progress.

Maybe you will have already completed a restoration of your own, or perhaps you too are about to embark on your first encounter with spanners, skinned knuckles and the smell of old engine oil. Either way, we hope that you'll enjoy reading our saga.

This is also the home of the Raising the Roof Classic Vehicle Rally. Please click here for more details on how to enter your vehicle.

If you want to get in touch please, email us at neville@ouraustin10.co.uk and vanessa@ouraustin10.co.uk. We would love to hear from you!
